Update via Halifax Professional Firefighters
At 11:05 this morning, #hfxfirefighters responded to reports of a house on fire on Albro Lake Road in Dartmouth. The call was quickly upgraded to a second alarm while crews were en route.
Our members from Station 12 (Highfield Park) arrived to find heavy fire conditions on the back side of a house. The fire had spread to multiple structures, threatening nearby homes. Multiple hose lines were deployed from both Albro Lake Road and Chappell Street to protect surrounding homes and bring the fire under control.
Our members remain on scene. The situation is under control.
