Missing person located deceased
Richmond County District RCMP, together with ground search and rescue and fire services volunteers, recovered the body of a woman reported missing September 5.
At approximately 8:45 a.m., Richmond County District RCMP received a report of a missing 46-year-old from Cleveland after the woman's vehicle was located parked near her residence on the far side of a flooded bridge.
A search was initiated involving RCMP officers, Ground Search and Rescue volunteers, and local fire services. At approximately 2:30 p.m., the body of a woman was recovered in the area.
The woman's death is not believed to be suspicious.
Nova Scotia RCMP thank all those who assisted in the search efforts.
