At 2:47 PM, #hfxfirefighters responded to a garage fire on Flamingo Drive in Halifax.
Our members from Station 7 (Clayton Park) arrived to find heavy fire in an attached garage that had started to spread into the home and roof. Within seconds of arrival, our members had a fire hose in place—stopping the spread and limiting damage.
Response times matter. Having fire fighters in stations on fire trucks, ready to respond, matters.
