Structure Fire – Gaston Rd, Dartmouth
At 5:28 PM, #hfxfirefighters were dispatched to a reported structure fire on Gaston Road in Dartmouth.
Our members from Station 15 (Woodside) arrived to a row house with fire visible on the rear exterior, extending into the roof.
A hoseline was quickly deployed, stopping the fire as it began impacting the interior and preventing further spread. Quick, coordinated action limited damage to the structure.
Response times matter. Fire fighters in fire stations, on fire trucks, ready to respond — matter.
