Save Dartmouth Cove dives to showcase biodiversity Over the weekend, a very special gathering took part at Dartmouth Cove as divers and supporters gathered for a bio blitz dive, showcasing the plentiful and diverse life found right here in the little Cove Dartmouth Cove is once again the subject of a controversial development plan - Infill and future development. Transport Canada has given a green light for the project after amendments were made by the developer, getting the proposed infill a step closer to becoming reality. Although HRM has created bylaws to prevent the infill, it remains in the hands of the province to approve or decline the project, which would eventually see property development. A future dive is likely to come, showcasing winter life that will occupy the beloved Cove.
