RCMP charge man after altercation in Port Greville
Cumberland County District RCMP has charged a man after a stabbing in Port Greville.
On November 6, at approximately 9:20 a.m., RCMP officers responded to an assault at a property in the 100 block of Brook Rd.
Through the investigation, RCMP officers learned that two men who are known to each other got into a physical altercation and one man stabbed the other with a knife.
The victim was transported to hospital by EHS with non-life-threatening injuries.
Adam Joseph Atkinson, 39, from Springhill, has been charged with Assault with a Weapon and Mischief.
Atkinson appeared in Amherst Provincial Court on November 6. He was released on conditions and is due to reappear in court on December 15.
