Police charge man with break and enter
On September 27 at approximately 9:45 a.m., officers responded to a break and enter that occurred at an apartment building located on Dresden Row in Halifax. That morning, the victim briefly left their apartment, returning shortly after. Upon entering the apartment, the victim observed a man run from a room within the unit and out the front door. The victim was not physically injured.
At approximately 10:10 a.m., officers located and arrested the suspect without incident.
Tian Min Zhang, 31, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face a charge of break and enter with intent to commit offence.

On September 27 at approximately 5:30 a.m., Antigonish County District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a structure fire on Monks Head Rd. at Pomquet. When RCMP officers arrived at the scene, the home was fully engulfed in flames. After the fire was extinguished, remains were located inside the home. At this time, criminality is not believed to be a factor in the fire based on information and evidence gathered. The investigation is ongoing in partnership with Nova Scotia Fire Marshal's Office and the Medical Examiner Service.
