Truro Police Service responded to a break and enter in progress at the NS Power compound in the Truro Industrial Park
**** Via Truro Police On August 1, 2025, shortly after midnight the Truro Police Service responded to a break and enter in progress at the NS Power compound in the Truro Industrial Park. Patrol officers quickly arrived on scene, located a suspicious vehicle, and arrested a 33-year-old female from Pictou County on an outstanding warrant. Officers confirmed the NS Power compound had indeed been broken into and located several stolen items in the vehicle. The female has been charged with break and enter, possession of stolen property, and will appear to Truro Provincial Court on September 3, her name is being withheld pending her court appearance. Our investigation also identified a second person involved in this crime and there is now an active warrant for the arrest of Arthur William Cross, 33-years-old, also from Pictou County for break and enter, theft, and possession of property obtained by crime.
