At 1:27 PM, #hfxfirefighters responded to reports of a fire in the underground parking garage of an apartment building on Spring Garden Road in Halifax.
Our members arrived to heavy smoke, high heat, and zero visibility.
Locating the fire was extremely difficult and resulted in several minor injuries to our members.
Once found, the fire was quickly knocked down and crews began extensive ventilation and overhaul efforts.
More than 28 fire fighters responded and worked in incredibly challenging conditions.
