Tankers continue to shuttle water from a dry hydrant as crews continue to douse hot spots from a late night fire on McCabe Lake Dr.
Investigators are on scene and crews have called for an escavator to level a part of the home. There were no known injuries.

At 3:40 AM, #hfxfirefighters were dispatched to reports of a house fire on McCabe Lake Dr in Middle Sackville. Our members from Station 10 (Middle Sackville) arrived in 8 minutes to find a home fully involved, with defensive fire conditions.
The call was escalated to a second alarm, bringing in additional resources from as far away as Bedford, Upper Tantallon, Fall River, and mutual aid from Mount Uniacke.
Crews remain on scene. Please avoid the area.
