**** HRP Media Release Police are investigating an arson​ that occurred​ earlier​ in Halifax. ​ At approximately 5:26 a.m. police and Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency responded to a structure fire in the 3600 block of Lynch Street in Halifax.​ Fire attended and extinguished the blaze. Fire investigators​ believe the fire was intentionally set and the arson investigation​ has been turned over to police.​ ​ There were no reported injuries. ​ The investigation is in the preliminary stages and investigators in the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are asking anyone with information about this incident to call 902-490-5020. 3601 Lynch Street, Halifax July 25, 2020 This fire involved a multi-unit dwelling. There were no injuries and no fatalities. The ignition source was undetermined. The area of origin was determined to be various rooms.   There were no working smoke alarms.  The cause of this fire is classified as INCENDIARY.
