Police investigate shooting in Dartmouth.

On July 12, 2020 at approximately 1:11 a.m. a 23 year old male arrived at the Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.

The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation. ​ Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the area of Lahey Road, Dartmouth.

Police investigate shooting in Halifax. ​ On July 12, 2020 at approximately​ 5:20 a.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a shooting that had occurred in the 3500 block of Lynch Street in Halifax. Police attended a residence in the area​ and located a 31-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The man was transported to hospital for treatment. Police remain at the scene. The incident is not believed to be random. ​ The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.​ ​ ​ Updates on the investigation will be provided when available. ​ Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call police at 902-490-5016.
