West Hants RCMP is targeting repeat offenders wanted on outstanding warrants as part of its crime prevention efforts. In just three days, a dedicated team of investigators:
• executed eight warrants
• arrested six wanted people
• conducted 25 compliance checks
Some of the warrants executed were for sexual and firearms offences.
Residents of West Hants can expect efforts focused on repeat offenders to continue in consideration of priorities identified together with the local Police Advisory Board.
