Halifax Regional Police Responded to a robbery in the 100-200 block of Research Dr. in Dartmouth

**** HRP Media Release On July 6th, 2020 at 1:22am Halifax Regional Police Responded to a robbery in the 100-200 block of Research Dr. in Dartmouth.​ A male victim was riding his bike home from work when he was approached by another man who demanded cash from him.​ The victim refused and the suspect produced a knife and again demanded cash.​ The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash.​ Both persons involved in the incident were known to one another. ​ The male victim was not injured during the incident.​ A 58 year old man was arrested outside his residence without incident.​ He will be appearing in Dartmouth Provincial Court on October 22, 2020 at 9:30 am charged with robbery and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
