**** New Glasgow Regional Police Release
Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) charge two persons with drug offences
On the 5th day of August, 2021 at approximately 4:00pm, the Pictou County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (PCISCEU) with assistance from the New Glasgow Regional Police executed a Search Warrant at a McColl Street residence in New Glasgow, NS.
As a result, police seized a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, digital scales, cash and a prohibited weapon.
A 35 year-old female and a 36-year old male both from Pictou County were arrested and are facing charges of:
* Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking;
* Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking; &
* Possession of a prohibited weapon.
