On August 19, fishery officers on patrol in St. Marys Bay, Nova Scotia, boarded a lobster fishing vessel and arrested two individuals for violations under the Fisheries Act.
Fishery officers seized the vessel and directed it to a nearby port where it was taken into custody. Officers also seized 10 lobster traps, and released 201 lobsters live to the ocean.

As this matter is under investigation, no further comment will be provided.
