Police investigate theft
On August 21 at approximately 7:55 p.m., police responded to a report of a theft at Costco, located at 230 Chain Lake Drive in Halifax. Staff reported a man entered the store, broke into a display case with a hammer, and then fled with a quantity of jewelry. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect. There were no reported physical injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man wearing a mask, sunglasses, blue hooded sweater, dark pants and running sneakers.

Police investigate robbery
On August 21 at approximately 10:35 p.m., police responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at the Petro Canada, located at 7015 Bayers Road in Halifax. Staff reported a man entered the store, threatened them with a firearm, and demanded money. The suspect fled with a quantity of money on a black motorcycle with another suspect who had been waiting outside. Staff were not physically injured.
The suspect is described as a white man wearing a mask, black jacket, black pants a black motorcycle helmet and gloves.

Police investigate break and enter
On August 23 at approximately 2:20 a.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence in the 3300 block of Romans Avenue in Halifax. The resident reported they arrived home and found an unknown man inside . The suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect. The victim did not require medical attention.
The suspect is described as a black man, wearing dark clothing.

Police investigate break and enter
On August 24 at approximately 12:55 a.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter at Esso, located at 174 Octerloney Street in Dartmouth. A witness reported that the front door was smashed and that four men were running from the store carrying items. Responding officers attended and confirmed a break and enter did occur. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspects. The store was closed and unoccupied during the incident.
One suspect is described as wearing a white mask, grey sweater with a black stripe on the chest, jeans and black boots.
The second suspect is described as wearing a black hooded sweater with the hood up, white mask, grey sweatpants, black boots and black gloves.
The other two suspects were described as dressed in all black.
