Police respond to shooting
Police are responding to a shooting in Dartmouth.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., police received a report of someone suffering from a gunshot wound in Green Road Park in Dartmouth. Green Road Park is a designated location for those experiencing homelessness.
Officers arrived and located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital by EHS with serious injuries.
There is a heavy police presence at Green Road Park.
The investigation is in the early stages; however, police do not believe this is a random incident.
