Structure Fire – Charles Street

At 7:07 AM this morning, #hfxfirefighters responded to reports of a house fire on Charles Street in Halifax.
Our members from Station 3 (Halifax) quickly arrived and encountered heavy fire conditions at the rear of the residence. The incident was upgraded to a second alarm.
Multiple hose lines were deployed to bring the fire under control and protect adjacent properties from extension.
During search operations, fire fighters safely rescued a cat from the residence. There were no reported injuries.
Response times matter. Fire fighters in fire stations, on fire trucks, ready to respond — matter.
