Update: Police investigate shooting
On February 22 at approximately 6:20 p.m., police responded to reports of possible gunshots heard in the 0-100 block area of Green Road Dartmouth. A 21-year-old man was located suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to hospital by EHS with what were believed to be life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was reported to have fled the area on foot.
At approximately 7:40 p.m., RCMP members located and arrested the suspect in a vehicle near Flying Cloud Drive and Forrest Hills Parkway without incident. Police are not looking for any other suspects.
A 30-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face charges of attempted murder and multiple firearms related charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
