16-year-old male from Truro is charged with uttering threats

**** Truro Police Release Thursday afternoon the Truro Police Service were advised that Cobequid Educational Centre (CEC) staff had discovered a student had posted threats toward the school. The student was quickly arrested by a School Resource Officer who was at CEC and taken into custody. The Truro Police Service Criminal Investigation Division took the lead on this investigation and executed a search warrant at the home of the suspect last evening in Truro. As a result of our investigation, a 16-year-old male from Truro is charged with uttering threats and will appear in Truro Provincial Court at a later date. The identity of the youth is protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
