Update: Joel Gaudet, wanted on province-wide warrant, has been arrested
Meteghan RCMP Detachment has safely arrested Joel Gaudet, who was wanted on a province-wide warrant.
The 34-year-old man from Church Point is facing multiple charges, including Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (six counts), Unauthorized Possession of Firearm (four counts), and Fail to Comply with Release Order (six counts).
Gaudet had a court appearance at Digby Provincial Court on December 11 and was release by the courts on conditions pending future court appearances.
The RCMP thanks members of the public for their support in locating Gaudet.
Joel Gaudet wanted on province-wide arrest warrant
Meteghan RCMP Detachment is seeking information on the whereabouts of Joel Andre Gaudet, who’s currently wanted on a province-wide arrest warrant.
Gaudet, 34, from Church Point, is facing charges of:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine)
- Possession of Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose (six counts)
- Unauthorized Possession of Firearm (four counts)
- Possession of Firearm When Knowing Possession is Unauthorized (four counts)
- Unsafe Storage of Firearm
- Possession Contrary to Order and Fail to Surrender Authorization (five counts)
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Fail to Comply with Release Order (six counts)
Gaudet is described as 5-foot-11, 170 pounds. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes.
Police have made several attempts to locate Gaudet and are requesting assistance from the public.
