**** Via RCMP The RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, in partnership with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE), will be conducting Immediate Action Rapid Deployment (IARD) training at Millwood High School on April 25 and 26. This planned training supports our shared commitment to school safety and ensures police officers are prepared to respond quickly and effectively during critical incidents in school settings. Residents may notice an increased police presence and officers in tactical gear during this time; however, there is no threat to the school or the public. We thank students, families, staff, and nearby residents for their understanding as we carry out this important safety-focused training.
