**** Via DFO It’s not every day that killer whales are spotted in Atlantic Canada, but recently, some were seen off the coast of Nova Scotia and in the Bay of Fundy! While whale watching can be an exciting experience from land, sea and in the air, it’s important to remember that when humans get too close, we risk disturbing or even harming them. Please keep a distance of at least 100 metres from whales, dolphins and porpoises, and at least 200 metres if they are with a calf– it’s the law.
