**** Via HRFE February is African Heritage Month. Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency honours past and present firefighters of African descent for their courage, dedication, and service. Their contributions keep our communities safe and inspire future generations. This year’s provincial theme is “Strength in Unity: Moving Forward with Purpose, Prosperity, Power, and Progress.” It reflects the power of unity to drive change, strengthen communities, advance justice, and create opportunity.
