This year’s Field Day simulates a city-wide wireless communication outage in Halifax.
The goal: test how well we can maintain amateur radio contact with other sites across North America when all other systems are down. It’s the perfect opportunity to demonstrate the real-world value of amateur radio in times of crisis.
