A crowd continues to form near Alderney Landing as concern continues to grow over the possibility of a go ahead for Dartmouth Cove infilling by a developer looking to fill in the cove with construction materials, eventually developing the small area.
With amendments made by the developer, the fight to save the area reignited after Transport Canada gave approval for the project to go ahead.
A biodiversity dive took place recently to showcase the abundance of marine life in the area, and people are calling for the premier to stop the project which many fear won't happen.
It is believed that the province will have a decision by end of the month.
The protest is on until 1pm.
