Camp Courage Recognized at the Nova Scotia Legislature!
**** Via Camp Courage Camp Courage Recognized at the Nova Scotia Legislature! We’re incredibly honoured that Camp Courage – The First Responder’s Society was recognized at the Nova Scotia Legislature for nearly two decades of empowering young women and gender-diverse youth to explore careers in firefighting, policing, paramedicine, the Coast Guard, the military, and other emergency services. As we approach our 20th Anniversary in 2026, this recognition is a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come — from a small idea to a national movement that has inspired hundreds of future first responders and community leaders. This achievement belongs to our amazing mentors, volunteers, sponsors, and partners who dedicate their time, energy, and heart to helping the next generation find their courage and pursue meaningful careers in service to others. A heartfelt thank you to the Province of Nova Scotia for this honour and for recognizing the lasting impact of our program and the remarkable young people who participate in it. Here’s to 20 years of courage — and to many more ahead!
