In photos - We popped by Hope for Wildlife's Saturday open house, a time to learn more about this important group and why it matters!

At the open houses, education is front and centre.  As Hope's incredible team guide the public throughout the compound, they educate the public about how mankind and wildlife can clash, usually resulting in negative experiences for the wildlife.

With many education animals on hand (animals too injured for Release but able to serve as valuable members of the Hope for Wildlife team), and other animals undergoing rehabilitation, the public gets to see and learn first hand about what we can do to try to improve our coexistence with our vast and wonderful wildlife.

It does not end with wildlife, as Hope and her team also showcase the importance of protecting our wildlife from domestic animals, and educating the importance of never releasing invasive animals into our environment!
