In photos – Today, 25 Camp Courage campers graduated, hosted by the 3MP Regt after more than a week of physical and mental education as they explored career options with Coast Guard, EHS, law enforcement and fire!
More than a week has passed since these eager and energetic campers began an incredible journey. With an incredible team of mentors (some former campers now first responders) and volunteers, contributing to the safety and education through countless stations throughout the week, this year's Camp Courage set a bar for the next year, which is a big one as Camp Courage turns 20!
The graduation, attended by friends and family, saw performances and speeches from the campers.
The campers received certificates proudly to great applause.
Ofcourse, keeping tradition, a very cool demonstration was held where the campers broke into medical, police and fire.
A scenario was laid out where the campers demonstrated their skills learned over the course of the camp.
Moderators explained the actions being taken to the curious onlookers.
We want to wish every camper a heartfelt congratulations, and wish you well in your journey.
