Making Moments Matter
This past Sunday, our members welcomed a young patient and their family for a fire station tour at nearby Station 2. When we learned that other children at the IWK wanted to visit but were unable to, our members didn’t hesitate.
Despite the weather, they brought the tour to them—rolling up with one of our aerials and setting up outside the hospital to wave, say hello, and brighten some very tough days.
We’re proud of the compassion and care our members show, both on and off duty.
