Hope for Wildlife - We really need trees!
We know this request usually comes around Christmastime, but it's now Christmas in June. We are in dire need of trees for our animals - we are out of them!
Trees provide valuable enrichment, physiotherapy, food, and shelter for animals.
They even help to eliminate stress by giving them a bit of a familiar environment. For our wild patients, trees are often be an essential part of their recovery. And we don't have any.
If you or someone you know have some trees to spare, our animals would really appreciate it. Or if you could help get the word out by sharing our post with local community Facebook groups who might be able to help, that would be wonderful!
We can also use hardwood browse!
Our address is 5909 Highway 207, Seaforth - you can drop them off anytime! I'm afraid we don't have the resources to come and get them from you, though.
