Allie and Abbie are enjoying time in their foster home and here is what their foster family had to say about them:
"Abbie and Allie are a friendly and affectionate bonded pair. When they first arrived, Abbie was a bit shy and found hiding spots, but she quickly gained confidence. Now, Allie seems to be the more reserved of the two.
They both prefer dry food to wet, with a strong liking for fish flavors. They've shared meals without issue, though Abbie sometimes helps herself to Allie's leftovers when she walks away.
Both cats love gentle pets and brushing and are sensitive to loud noises. Abbie enjoys lounging on the couch or snuggling on a person under a blanket. She's curious about a feather wand toy and even did a brief "grandma gallop" to chase it. Allie also enjoys lap time and will sometimes rest her front paws on your shoulder for a hug, both girls are happy and affectionate."
Allie has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which requires an daily oral medication long-term, a grade 2/6 heart murmur, hip dysplasia, arthritis, and early kidney disease.
Abbie has been diagnosed with left medial luxating patellas and mild arthritis.
