Last week, Emergency Preparedness and Special Operations (EPSO) paramedics joined Emergency Response Team (ERT) members from RCMP, Halifax Regional Police and Cape Breton Regional Police for a three-day Tactical Trauma Workshop.
Together we honed skills in advanced trauma care, team dynamics and workflow coordination for large-scale mass casualty incidents.
Through real-life high-pressure training scenarios, the teams strengthened inter-agency collaboration and interoperability, allowing them to coordinate and provide high-quality care as safely and effectively as possible.
