Meet Phoebe! This 7 year old spayed female is available for adoption and currently hanging out in a foster home, here is what the foster parent has to say about her:
"Phoebe is a calm and sweet soul with the absolute most relaxing purr. Her favourite pastimes are curling up next to you on the couch or in bed and chasing her laser toy.
She loves being petted and brushed and tolerates being picked up. While she's timid of sudden or loud sounds, she's done really well meeting new people.
Phoebe is also well-mannered. She never hisses or swats and is a champ with her litter box habits.
Phoebe is a loving companion cat and looks forward to finding her next home."
Phoebe requires a long-term veterinary urinary care diet (Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets UR St/Ox soft food) due to a history of chronic hematuria. This food is available for purchase through your veterinarian.
She also takes a medication called gabapentin, twice daily to help manage cystitis. She will need an adopter who's comfortable giving liquid oral medication regularly.
