Mark your calendars for June 8, 2025 - World Ocean Day
Join us at the Cunard Public Space on the Halifax waterfront for a free, family-friendly event celebrating World Ocean Day.
🕙 When: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Where: Cunard Public Space, Halifax
This event is open to all ages and will feature:
- Interactive booths and exhibits from ocean partner organizations
- Ocean-themed crafts and games with CPAWS NS, CERI, and The Whale Sanctuary
- A touch tank with Back to the Sea Society
- The “Ocean, Freshwater, and Us” giant floor map of Canada
- An Fisherman Talk from Art Gaetan
- An Artist Talk with Stephanie Kincade of 'The Barnacle Project'
It’s the perfect way to connect with your community while celebrating the vital role the ocean plays in our lives.
