In photos - Happy soon to be mothers day to a very special soon to be mom - A Sullivan's Pond goose!
Recently online, it was noticed that one goose from the iconic flock was staying rather immobile.
A call was placed to Hope for Wildlife who confirmed a nesting mom, safely away from most outside interface.
If you look closely at these photos, the goose laying down eventually gets up, exposing what appears to be a nest made of sticks and covered in feathers, which she takes the time to arrange for warmth before going for a swim.
We hope to see many healthy newcomers to the flock and would like to remind onlookers to give the babies some space once they join the world!
