**** HRP Media Release Police seek owner of found money ​ Police are seeking the public’s assistance in returning found money to its rightful owner. ​ On October 28, 2022 a citizen contacted police to turn in a quantity of cash that her son and friends had found in the area of the trails and the sports fields in the 1800 block of the Bedford Highway. ​ Police are asking the owner, or anyone who may have information about the money, to call police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or using the P3 Tips App. ​ To claim the money, you must be able to specify the denomination of the bills and the total amount of cash. ​ We commend the youths for doing the right thing and turning the money in to police.
