LABOUR DAY PICNIC IN THE PARK
Join us for the first ever Labour Day Weekend Picnic in the Park on Sunday, September 6 at Sullivan’s Pond from 1-5PM.
Enjoy a licensed area where you will be able to purchase craft beverages from our local businesses, a community BBQ, an area with chairs as well as ample space to lay out a blanket and enjoy the live music from Isabelle Foster and The Mellotones!
From 2-2:20 enjoy Isabelle Foster, a young Canadian-Italian singer-songwriter who writes relatable, emotional songs as well as upbeat tracks. Drawing influence from artists such as Lizzy McAlpine and Olivia Rodrigo, she explores the emotional rollercoaster of growing up, capturing the honesty and complexity of teenage life in her lyrics.
From 2:30-4:30 enjoy The Mellotones! The Mellotones have been bringing their high-octane party to stages around the world for over two decades. Lighting up dance floors wherever they go, the R&B Funk band is an 8-piece powerhouse. From weddings to festivals to late-night clubs and corporate events, their energetic show provides the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.
