Last evening the Truro Police Service received a report of an injured groundhog on Queen Street. Officers responded and located the animal
With the assistance of a member of the public who provided a box, the injured groundhog was safely contained. Hope For Wildlife attended the scene and transported the groundhog to its rehabilitation facility for treatment and care.
We are pleased to report that the groundhog is doing well today. Truro Police Service would like to thank the member of the public and Hope for Wildlife for their assistance in ensuring the animal received the care it needed.
