In photos - Following the blue line as Camp Courage Police Day 2 has bite!
The campers wrapped up police day with a full day of hands on activities and demonstrations.
From a interactive forensics display and ERT session to start the day, the campers were immediately on the go!
A tactical police medic informed the campers of her unique role within policing. EDU (explosives) displayed some of the tools of the trade while K9 put on a very impressive demo. Self-defense was a big hit with the campers as they learned several fast but effective ways to protect themselves.
Many other activities saw the campers learn about police vehicles, including light and siren use.
A very special talk with an RCMP superintendent gave encouragement and advice to the campers.
As always, a great meal kept the campers and mentors (and this photographer) fueled.
A daily moment of silence and a chance to share encouragement ended the day.
Tomorrow, the campers begin fire day 1 as this incredible camp draws closer to an end!
