In photos - Making a splash as Camp Courage sails into Coast Guard day!
Learning the ropes, the campers took on the tools of the trade at the Dartmouth Coast Guard base. Learning ropes, how to pump a boat filling with water, and hitting the water in RHIBs to learn rescue techniques, and so much more as mentors and campers took in the bright sun.
Followed by obstacle courses with stations involving skills learned today, the campers were challenged to push themselves, working in teams and as individuals.
Many other learning stations involved communications and much more, and a fantastic BBQ lunch was provided by the CG (compliments to the chef!)
EHS days are coming up next, and the campers are eager to go! Many fantastic memories have already been made with many more to come!
