Tomorrow, we celebrate Canada Day and the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park’s 72nd Birthday!

**** Via Shubenacadie Wildlife Park Celebrations are approaching Tomorrow, we celebrate Canada Day and the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park’s 72nd Birthday! The Shubenacadie Wildlife Park began in 1949 as a small collection of captive wildlife and grew into the beloved park we know today, officially opening to the public on July 1, 1954. Over the past 72 years, the park has evolved into a centre for nature education, wildlife care, while continuing to connect visitors with Nova Scotia’s natural heritage. This past year we welcomed over 122,000 visitors, and we can’t wait to welcome even more guests this season to explore, learn, and create lasting memories at the park! The Park will be open 9:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (last admission at 5:30 p.m.). Enjoy free crafts and activities at the Wetland Centre, and grab a meal or snack from our onsite food vendors SHUBIE SNACKS and ZOO BITES To make a full day of fun, the community of Shubenacadie will be hosting its 40th Annual Canada Day celebrations.
