Death Review Committee Recommendations Released ------------------------------------------------------ Recommendations from two death review committees were released today, May 28.
Each set of recommendations, one from the Domestic Violence Death Review Committee and the other from the Deaths in Custody Review Committee, focuses on an individual death.

Under Nova Scotia's Fatality Investigations Act, recommendations from death review committees are made public. All personal or identifying information is removed to protect the privacy of those involved.
Nova Scotia has one other death review committee – the Child Death Review Committee.
