In photos - Taking a dive for Dartmouth Cove as swimmers gathered for a winter biodiversity showcase!
More than a dozen divers took to Dartmouth Cove to check out the winter plant and wildlife of the cove. Snorkle and SCUBA spread out in the calm waters as a warm sun beat down.
As they returned to shore, big smiles were on faces as they witnessed starfish and seaweed in peaceful bliss. Many were excited to see species never seen by them before, and all witnessed plentiful life.
Dartmouth Cove remains a topic of concern for many as Atlantic Road Construction and Paving have allegedly once again made notice to pave a road in the area, and the future of the cove being infilled remains a topic of concern for residents of the area and across the province.
