Lane Closure – Dutch Village Road
Location: Dutch Village Road between Joseph Howe and Central Avenue
Dates: Monday, June 16 to Friday, July 18
Time: 24/7
Work Details: This work is to facilitate street recapitalization as part the Dutch Village Road Complete Streets project.
Traffic Impacts: Dutch Village Road will be closed to eastbound traffic between Joseph Howe and Central Avenue. Westbound traffic will still be able to turn on to Dutch Village Road from Joseph Howe Drive.
Detour signage will be in place and personnel will be on-site to direct traffic. Drivers should expect delays and use alternative routes.
Transit Impacts: Route 28 and 137 will be detoured causing the following bus stops to be temporarily closed:
- Dutch Village Road Before Rufus Avenue (6614) will be directed to Dutch Village Road before Rosedale Avenue (6613)
- Dutch Village Road Before Deal Street (6615) will be directed to Dutch Village Road before Andrew Street (6609)
- Dutch Village Road After Alma Crescent (9042) will be directed to Dutch Village Road opposite Percy Street (6616)

Street Closure – Westerwald Street
Location: Intersection of Westerwald Street and Dutch Village Road
Dates: Monday, June 16 to Friday, July 18

Work Details: This work is to facilitate street recapitalization as part the Dutch Village Road Complete Streets project.
Traffic Impacts: Westerwald Street will be closed between Melrose Avenue and Dutch Village Road. Traffic will be detoured via Melrose Avenue. A signed detour route will be in place and personnel will be on-site to direct traffic. Drivers should expect delays and use alternative routes.

Location: Intersection of Sunnybrae Avenue and Dutch Village Road

Location: Jubilee Road between Edward Street and Robie Street

Work details: This work is related to a nearby development at 1682-1694 Robie Street.
Traffic impact: Traffic control signs will direct vehicles through this construction zone. Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
Pedestrian impact: The north sidewalk on Jubilee Road will remain open during the street closure. The south sidewalk may be closed at times during construction.
Pedestrians are asked to use alternative crosswalks to navigate around the construction site.

Traffic impact: One-way closure for eastbound traffic. Detour signs will be in place for incoming traffic with pedestrian access maintained. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. Drivers should expect delays and use alternative routes.
