Solar eclipse in Nova Scotia

Solar eclipse in Nova Scotia

Dim day - You may notice over the next couple of hours that it's getting pretty dim out.  Don't worry, it's not just you.

A partial solar eclipse will be visible across most of Canada including here in Nova Scotia and is starting right about now, lasting for approximately 2 hours with the peak at approximately 3pm.

"It is important to remember that it is never safe to look directly at the Sun during a partial solar eclipse without proper eye protection.' - Environment Canada

I sadly do not have proper filters but will try for a few pics as the eclipse fills in.
