Safety and consent have always been top priorities at Hal-Con
To that end, we want to give a reminder and update to our photography policy. We have always had the policy that you cannot photograph someone without their consent, and in this age where smart technology is advancing faster than laws and policies can update, we want to make it very clear:
You cannot use smart glasses to film ANY person without their consent or knowledge, ever. In addition- photography and videography is not permitted in the autograph/photograph room at all. If your smart glasses are prescription, there will be stickers provided to cover the lens while you are in that room. Failure to follow will mean you cannot enter the A/P room.
Again we take this very seriously, and if we find any person's consent or safety is being compromised, it will be addressed IMMEDIATELY.
