Road Closure – Bedford Highway
Location: Bedford Highway, between Windsor Street and the Joseph Howe Drive ramps
Dates and times: 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17 to 7 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18
Work details: This is to facilitate the safe removal of an overhead sign structure that crosses the full width of Bedford Highway. The removal of this sign will enable the upcoming construction of a detour road that will support future phases of the Windsor Street Exchange project.
Traffic impact: Bedford Highway will be closed in both directions at the Windsor Street intersection while this overhead sign removal work is underway. Marked detours will be in place. Drivers should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes where possible.
Access to Bedford Highway from the MacKay Bridge and Highway 111 will not be impacted by this work.
Sidewalk impact: The sidewalk along Bedford Highway will remain open in this area while this work is underway.
