Update - Police Investigate single vehicle collision - Williamswood
At 4:57 p.m. Halifax Regional Police and HRM Fire & Emergency Service, and Emergency Health Service responded to a report of a single motorcycle collision in the 1800 block of Old Sambro Road Willamswood. The male driver was later pronounced deceased on scene by Emergency Health Services.
Traffic was blocked in the 1800 block of Old Sambro Road while the HRP Collision Reconstruction Unit processed the scene. The road has reopened. The investigation is ongoing.
Thoughts are with the loved ones of the deceased and everyone who was affected by this incident.

An adult male sustained serious injuries that are believed to be life threatening. Investigators from Patrol and Accident Investigation Section are conducting the investigation, which is ongoing.
Traffic Blocked: The 1800 block of Old Sambro Road is blocked to vehicle traffic in both directions and will remain closed for an extended period.
